Irvine Electronics has been experiencing continued growth in the medical electronics market. We are happy to announce that after a full qualification performed in 2015, IEI has been awarded another 2 year contract to support our end customer’s surgical systems. The assemblies are performed to Class III workmanship standards with very stringent requirements.
IEI recently purchased and installed a fully automated de-panelizer to further support our customer’s needs. Our new LPKF S63 system better allows for more accurate and efficient de-panelization for even the most compact and complex assemblies.
IEI was awarded another significant contract to support cable and mechanical assemblies for the Orion mission. This high mix, high complexity project supports all of the interconnect cabling and subsystems used on the Orion rockets. With a 15 year reputation and impeccable rating with this customer, IEI was the first choice as the subcontractor to partner with.
Irvine Electronics was recently awarded a long term contract to support battery charging systems for the Orion mission. This is another testament to IEI’s capabilities and strength in the high reliability arena.
