Hand Solder / Assembler

Requirements:
The employee shall successfully complete the IEI soldering test at an IEI acceptable skill level. The employee will also maintain proficiency in the following job related functions: knowledge of color-coding; proper component orientation and polarization; etch cutting and installation of jumpers from assembly instructions or sample; and performance of touch-up to quality standards as designated by IEI or their customers.

Education and/or Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of two years assembly experience and proficiency in component preparation, including machine setup. IPC-610A and J-STD-001 a plus, read and writhe English a must, ISO 9000 and AS9100 working environment a plus, Soldering certificates a plus, SMT experience a plus. Program Manager

Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The employee shall assume the following responsibilities: interaction with Aerospace/Defense and/or Commercial/Industrial/Medical customers and employees to resolve production, design, and quality issues; Meeting short and long term documented sales, profit and productivity goals; and following up monthly with the General Manager. Support all internal customer service related issues, tracking of projects, reporting of status, resolving discrepancies, due dates, and satisfying specific customer requests. Assist in RFQ, quotes for assigned accounts, hold customer project status meeting to review quality, schedule, pricing, and customer satisfaction issues. Manage and track all customer orders from P.O. to invoice to ensure all contractual items have been completed to customer and IEI satisfaction and expectations, work with customers, accounting and sales to resolve pricing, invoicing, and special items. Manage customer ECN, ECO process from NPI – Newp Product Introductions thru shipment.


Education and/or Experience:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Ideal candidate would have a BS or BA degree in Engineering or Business; Possess a detailed understanding of electro/mechanical and printed circuit board assemblies; basic familiarity with applicable quality acceptance criteria; acquire a detailed familiarity with IEI Policy, Processes and Procedures; and accentuated familiarity with IEI capabilities and work capacity. Quality Engineer

Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The employee under minimum supervision shall manage the programs, assets, and activities of Quality Assurance, Methods/Processes, Work Measurement, and Equipment, ISO and AS9100 Administration and Management, and maintain and analyze SPC data collection. Shall also handle ESD Program Management, CAR/MRB/NCMR Management (Overall company corrective action system), NPI Management, and Receiving Inspection Management. Must have the ability to personally perform full mechanical inspections and bare PCB inspections and manage in-house training program, Quality Project Tracking and Administration, Supplier Quality Management, Calibration Management, and Agency Support (UL, CSA, CE, TUV). Must Support Customer Audits. Must have the ability to resolve day-to-day quality issues. Other responsibilities include directing the efforts of subordinate individual contributors in the areas of Quality Control and Line Support and direct interaction with customers to resolve design, process, or quality issues.


Education and/or Experience:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: To perform this job, an individual must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a Quality Engineer. Experience in both commercial and aerospace electronics industry is required. Hands on and job knowledge of CCA assembly, cable assembly, mechanical assembly and workmanship standards, IPC-610 and J-STD-001. Experience and job knowledge of AS9100 is preferred. ANSI-Y14.5, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, industry ESD, supplemental Quality and Calibration specifications. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Must be a U. S. Person.

Cable Mechanical Assembler

Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The employee shall successfully complete the IEI 90 day on the job training and acquire skills and knowledge to an IEI acceptable skill level. The employee shall be responsible for all or some of the following: perform all wiring, harnessing, and mechanical assemblies to customer specifications, able to use small hand tools such as crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place. Place labels in appropriate location, box build according to customer requirement.


Education and/or Experience:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the ability to read and interpret drawings, assembly prints, parts lists, assembly procedures, and related documentation. Must be proficient in the use of all-mechanical crimpers and hand tools and automatic crimping dies and strippers. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience.

JR. Test Engineer

Requirements:
The employee shall be responsible for all company test requirements and interface with customers on their requirements for testing. Employee shall also be able to set up new test stations and equipment for new products in need of functional testing, collect all filing, BOM, blueprints, schematics and test procedures, generate test procedures if not provided by customer, and train test operators on new product testing procedures. Must have understanding of electronic components, digital and analog circuits and systems, demonstrate strong problem solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions, demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Shall help technicians to solve troubleshooting problems, analyze test results and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications, and communicate and generate necessary reports for production, manufacturing, and Quality, and revise BOM based on failure caused by process. Shall also evaluate current test stations and procedures to improve test input and manufacturing environment.

Must have a 4-year engineering degree preferably in electrical engineering or related technical degree and 1 - 2 years of experience in the electronics industry.
